50 Signature Bags from Time Magazines / the 37's

The 37's is YSL mombasa bag.

Do you think if you've seen one hobo purse you've seen them all? There's no doubt that few designers really push the boundaries of this popular slouchy style. But if you can count on anyone to create a unique hobo, it's Yves Saint Laurent.
The secret to the Mombasa's appeal is its high quality materials and spacious design. The bag's exterior is made from lush buffalo leather in a compelling dark red shade. This rich fabric is offset by antique silver hardware and an amazing deer horn handle.
Now animal lovers, don't need to worry. YSL only uses deer horns obtained after natural shedding of antlers, so these majestic creatures aren't harmed. The strap is completely adjustable, allowing you to carry this gorgeous bag on your arm or over your shoulder.
Many hobos tend to be on the small side: ideal for a night out but not very practical for everyday use. But not the Mombasa, which is large enough to carry everything you need without weighing you down.
With a combination of superior style and plenty of usable space, the Mombasa is the ideal choice for taking you from day to night.

Oh! just finish...mm..
A long time for sketching,I'm very busy about the other projects and now,it's time up. This is my 1st sketch of  line bags[ready to wears before].There are 20 styles and have many charactors.
The 20 looks are compound of many style I like and occasions, rock ,samurai soldier, day&night useful, casual to party, small cluth to giant satchel.
I will choose the 5 style for making the mock-up bags, difficult to decide but I will select by my self confident and passion of me.
Concept of the collection is YUKI-ONNA, snow legend of japanese inspiration. The theme of honour ghost woman, samusai story, luxirious kimono costume and details of japanese accessories dressing.
The bags charactors are fashionable and ethnotrendy.

For your first impression. Which one do you like?

50 Signature Bags from Time Magazines / the 38's

The 38's is Halston foxy envelope clutch.
I have been waiting for this clutch to arrive since we saw it at the Spring 2009 presentation at MoCA. This clutch with the hammered gold hardware as the only "detail" is sleek, chic and totally sublime. This picture is totally disappointing and bland, but when you see it in person you will understand why it enthralls and thrills. I am sure later in the season we will get the more fun, brighter colors but this gold / nude is a good basic that will cycle in your wardrobe forever. This is the smaller clutch at 8" x 5", there is a bigger one that is more useful and better proportioned for informal wear. I will wait for that! Or maybe the croc, go to the jump page to see the croc we found on the retail director at the show. But this is one clutch that does not need to be exotic to be fabulous - it is the perfect example of how a little can go a long way!

50 Signature Bags from Time Magazines / the 39's

The 39's is Kate Spade stripe tote.
The inspiration for Kate Spade can not be found in up to the minute trends, but rather in the timeless antiquity of definitive classics. She is truly iconic, and bags like this one are what gave her this stature.

• Striped “Madison” tote by Kate Spade
• Classic signature stripe pattern in pinks and browns
• Brown fabric handles
• Tan “k” signature inside lining
• Silver feet protect the bottom
• Brand new with tags (tiny stain on side - see picture)

50 Signature Bags from Time Magazines / the 40's

The 40's is Gucci classic bag.

The Gucci Classic Bag is one of the numerous products in the Gucci Canvas bags stable. Other members of this stable include the likes of the 'black and coffee' Gucci Bag, the Gucci Message Diapers bag, the Beige Plus Brown Gucci Leather Bag, the Large Boston Bronze Gucci Bag and the Medium Tote (161836) Black Gucci Bag; among others. Some of these are bags that I have previously had the opportunity to use. But of them all, it is Gucci Classic Bag that I have gotten most enchanted with.

Like most high-end Gucci Bags, the most notable thing about Gucci Classic Bag is its elegance; which it oozes of whatever angle you look at it from. Looking at it keenly, it emerges that cream is probably the background color on it, with grayish patterns emblazoned all over its body, in a diagonal setting. It does look a 'classic' bag in every sense. There is a hint of red on the bag's handle, as well as black.
Gucci Classic Bag is quite a large bag. Here, we are looking at a whopping 43 centimeters in height, some 41 centimeters in width, and some 10 centimeters in depth, clearly more space than most handbag user's can ever find usage for. With dimensions like these, this is a bag you can carry to the office in the morning (as a handbag), and convert into a (light) shopping handbag after office hours. Indeed, even for short distance travelling, Gucci Classic Bag could also be a great bag.

50 Signature Bags from Time Magazines / the 41's

The 41's is Lady Dior Cannage tote.
Nothing is more classically feminine than the Lady Dior line by Christian Dior. And while the Lady Dior bags may not stand on fashion's cutting edge, they do have a hundred years of couture tradition behind their conservative good looks.

The Cannage bag takes its name from the quilted pattern in the patent leather, called "cannage stitching", a Dior trademark. The tonal matte stitches show off the glossiness of the patent leather, and the intricate cannage pattern has a look that is both classic and contemporary.
The shiny, oversized silver hardware really pops against the backdrop of black patent, and the Dior logo charms are an eye-catching, but classy, alternative to a prominent logo. The rolled leather handles have a 4.25" drop, comfortable for carrying by hand, but probably too short for most of us to fit over a shoulder. But, apparently, Christian Dior thought of that, too, and included a long, removable shoulder strap.
The high attention to detail is exactly what you should expect from the established House of Dior. The stitching is even and intricate, and all the hardware is polished to a glassy shine. Protective metal feet on the bottom of the bag keep your investment safe from scuffs and scratches. Even the interior has trademark Dior quality, with its jacquard logo lining.
The Cannage comes in several sizes, including an adorable mini-version favored by Hollywood burlesque starlet Dita Von Teese. And, Blair Waldorf, the preppy Upper East Side teen socialite on Gossip Girl, has been spotted toting this 9.8" x 4.3" x 8.3" version on some of the most recent winter episodes. All said, you really can't do better than a bag that the "Queen B" and the "Queen of Burlesque" can agree on.
