Types of Handbags for women / 2

Wristlet
-Wristlets are tiny tiny tiny.
-These types of bags are limited in what they can carry, but are also pretty convenient because they don't take up much space and are relatively easy to carry around.
-They are useful if you're just going out and need a few things - a couple of bucks or some change - or if you want to compartmentalize your larger purse but don't have enough pockets and sections in it.
-If you need a change purse or need to keep something separate from the big purse, get a wristlet!
-They're very useful for that, but they won't help you carry your books to class.
-They are called wristlets because of their wrist loops attached to them.

Handbag
-This is probably what you're thinking of when you think of a purse.
- It's a medium sized bag that keeps all of your basic stuff in it. Wallet, cell phone, make-up accessories, mirrors, q-tips, whatever you want can go into this bag.
-It won't fit your books or your laptop, but that's really not what it's for.
-It's for small accessories you need to take with you on any random given occasion.
-Typically you don't carry this purse with larger bags like totes.
-You can put wristlets or even small clutches in them though.

Laptop Bag
-I think this is pretty self explanatory.
-These types of bags are for: you guessed it. Laptops. It's generally not a good idea to carry a laptop without a bag to go with it, they're far too fragile and expensive and dropped laptops are never a good thing.
-You can find a ton of laptop bags that are light and padded with plenty of compartments for other cords, plugs, flash drives, etc.
-There are a ton of different styles and shapes, but what you really want to look for is how secure it makes your laptop and how much extra space it has for all your laptop accessories.
